2: 30pm: Commissaire Barthélémy of the Regional RG in Limoges visited the Banque de France at Limoges where he met with the director of the branch. He verified that there were 23 crates containing art works including the Schloss collection. 4:00pm: These crates were brought up from the basement to an inner courtyard where a truck was parked and loaded onto that truck. A civilian car in which were seated Lefranc and a representative of the CGQJ accompanied the truck. Barthélémy joined them and the convoy left for Paris. 8pm: They stopped at Argenton sur Creuse for dinner. 10pm: They reached Chateauroux. They parked the truck in the courtyard of the local gendarmerie.
