Schloss collection to remain in the Banque de France

Jaujard received a telephone call from Michel Martin stating that Lefranc had not arrived and that the Banque de France would be closed until Monday. Without an approval or order from Laval, the regional prefect could not let the collection leave for Paris. Laval, Darquier de Pellepoix and even Bonnard disagreed over the transfer of the Schloss collection. Mr. Martin offered to return to Paris to share sensitive information that he could not disclose over the phone and would then return to Limoges on the same day.
