Musso appeal for guidance from Pierre Laval regarding the Schloss collection

The Préfet de la Corrèze, Jean Musso, did everything he could to prevent the transfer of the collection to the occupied zone. He appealed to Pierre Laval, head of the Vichy government, first by telegram then in person at Vichy. Laval sent Bonnard to meet him.
