It is not clear whether “Collection John Prinberton [Pemberton] et Heywood, Clovley [Cloverly] Hall, Morris Green” refers to the older John Pemberton (1755-1835) or the younger one (1803-1877). The latter was a banker from Liverpool and High Sheriff of Lancashire in 1855 who had William Eden Nesfield build Cloverley Hall, a mansion house in Shropshire, between 1864 and 1870.   The Pemberton and Heywood provenance mention for a painting by Salmon Koninck entitled Old Feather Cutter points to the Heywood-Lonsdale collection, which was primarily formed by the older John Pemberton Heywood and his grandson Arthur Pemberton Heywood-Lonsdale (1835-97). The collection was built over several generations.       Links:   ·        https://www.cloverleyhall.org/about-us/history/ ·        https://www.tate.org.uk/art/artworks/lambert-classical-landscape-t00211   For additional information: Christie, Manson & Woods.
