Mr. Bonn, former chairman of the board of directors of the Banque Jordaan, was the only Jewish officer of the Banque Jordaan. He was a friend of Dr. Paul Emile Weil and his wife, Juliette Schloss. He encouraged Jewish owners of art collections to use Banque Jordaan's facilities at Château de Chambon (Laguenne, Corrèze), to store their collections in its vaults.
