Gerlach brief to Schleier about Bömelburg and Lohse involvement in Schloss case

On 10 May 1943, Werner Gerlach briefed Rudolf Schleier on Karl Bömelburg and Bruno Lohse’s activities regarding the Schloss confiscation. Gerlach informed Schleier that, in his view, Bömelburg of the SD and Lohse of the ERR had been instrumental in securing the arrest of Henry Schloss and Lucien Schloss “in the territories occupied by the Italians.”
