Exchange between Darquier de Pellepoix and Lohse at the Jeu de Paume

Rose Valland recalled an exchange between Darquier de Pellepoix and Lohse where he told the latter after the transfer of the Schloss collection to the Jeu de Paume: “You’re almost there [Nous voilà à la dernière étape].”
