Enactment of second law regarding the status of Jews in France

On 14 June 1941 the second “law” codifying the “statut des Juifs” replaced the 3 October 1940 texts and provided a more explicit racialist definition of what it meant to belong to the “Jewish race” displaying closer affinities to Nazi racial principles than the previous texts.
