Description of the behavior of Gendarmerie personnel by Musso to the Préfet regional of Haute-Vienne

Musso wrote to the Préfet regional of Haute-Vienne who was based in Limoges. He commended the behavior of the Gendarmerie during the removal of the Schloss collection by the German police and the upstanding behavior of the gendarmes charged with intercepting the truck carrying the Schloss collection at Masseret. Musso asked the préfet regional to notify the leadership of the Vichy government accordingly.
