Confirmation by Gerlach of reimbursement to the Reichskreditkasse

Gerlach confirmed with the German Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) that 2.5 Million RM had been remitted to the German Embassy in Paris and that the Reichskreditkasse in Paris had received a check for 50 million francs to cover the advance that it had consented on 26 October 1943 for the acquisition of the Schloss paintings for the Sonderauftrag Linz.
