Arthur Leonard Nicholson, active around 1933 in Surrey, England, appears in the provenance as recorded in the Banque Dreyfus Inventory for tableau no. 102 as “Coll. W. Mackenzie, Londres; A. Léonard Nicholson, Londres” for the Abraham van den Hecken work “Le Chirurgien de village”.
