Arrest of Lucien Schloss in Lamastre

At 8 :30am, two German policemen burst into a room at the Hotel du Commerce in Lamastre, Ardèche, where they arrested Lucien Schloss. His younger brother, Raymond, and his sister Juliette Schloss Veil, also at Lamastre, were not arrested. After his arrest at Lamastre by German security police, Lucien was taken to Lyon for interrogation and managed to escape.
