Appointment of Jacques Jaujard

On 28 January 1941, Jacques Jaujard, director of France’s National Museums (Musées Nationaux), was asked to join a committee overseeing the sequestration and liquidation of Jewish assets, put in place by the Vichy Ministry of Education.
