Application of Article 5 of a restitution ordinance

Article 5 of the ordinance no 45634 of 11 April 1945.   At the request of the Commission de récupération artistique, the provisions of article 5 of Order [Ordinance] no. 45624 of 11 April 1945 shall be applied, which reads as follows: “When, following a claim for restitution, the property claimed is handed over to the claimant, the claimant shall not be recognized as the owner of the said property until the expiry of a period of two years from the legal date of the present restitution. Until that date, he will be considered as the beneficiary of a loan agreement for use revocable at any time by the administration and will be bound as such to the obligations incumbent on the borrower.
