Göpel wrote to Voss from the Hôtel Bristol in Paris that two paintings from the Schloss Collection had turned up on the art market, in violation of the original agreements. One was a portrait of an old woman, attributed to the Circle of Frans Hals, painted on wood and in good condition. He wondered if the Sonderauftrag_ sh_ould acquire it.
