    Cultural Institutions Officer, Information Centers Advisory Staff, US Department of State. Breitenbach was the main American investigator at the Munich Central Collecting Point searching for paintings stolen from the Führerbau. Breitenbach helped recover dozens of Schloss paintings which went missing in late April 1945 from the Führerbau.
