Frederik Muller was an Amsterdam art auctioneer, art dealer and publisher. In 1875, he founded Frederik Muller & Co., an art auction house and antique shop on the Nieuwe Doelenstraat 16-18 in Amsterdam. F. Adema van Scheltema was his business partner. Although the antiquarian part of the firm was closed in 1919, the art auction house remained active until the 1960's. After Muller's death the firm
