Jacomo or 'Jacob' de Wit was an art collector, art dealer and wine merchant in Antwerp. He was the uncle and godfather of the Dutch painter Jacob de Wit (1695-1754). He died on 5 July 1721 leaving his art collection to his widow, Isabella-Clara van Simpelvelt, she died in 1740.
