Václav Brožík, or Vaclav de Brozik, born in Třemošná in 1851, was a Czech painter. After attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, he studied Old Masters in the Netherlands and eventually settled in Paris. In 1879 he married Hermina Sedelmeyer, daughter of the wealthy Parisian art dealer Charles Sedelmeyer. In 1893, he became a Professor at the Art Academy in Prague. He was named a member of t
