Variant 4 - Lefranc’s version of events on April 10, 1943, as related to Gaston Veveaud on April 18, 1943 Lefranc and Favier reached Tulle on 10 April and met with Mr. Musso, the local prefect. He issued a search warrant which they executed at Chambon. Crates were found. Lefranc ordered seals to be affixed to anything related to Schloss. A procès-verbal was drawn up by two inspectors from the Police Judiciaire, Mr. Perrie (Marseille) and Cloup (Tulle).
