Recovery of Schloss 49, Schloss 50 and Schloss 138
On 20 October 1948, an unknown person dropped off a package at the MCCP. It contained three paintings from the Schloss collection–Schloss 49, Schloss 50 and Schloss 138. Edgard Breitenbach surmised that the paintings may have come from a residential building at Fürtenstrasse 10.
