Schloss 229, a painting by Verspronck, was returned to the MCCP, two months after its presence was noticed by two refugee officers from the Royal Yugoslav Army, Slavko Uzicanin** **and Capt. Djordje Djordjevic, who lived in Munich at the time. They reported their finds to a French officer assigned to the MCCP for restitution matters, Pierre Duchartre.
