Jean-François Lefranc was a French art dealer, former reparations official, who helped aryanize a number of Jewish collections and galleries in wartime Paris and instigated the seizure and dispersal of the Schloss collection.

    Lefranc represented the interests of the Commissariat Général aux Questions Juives (CGQJ) as an administrateur provisoire of Jewish assets and also promoted the interests of Nazi officials in securing hidden Jewish collections.
