    Jean Gautron was a French laborer who lived at 138, rue de Calais, Argenteuil, Seine et Oise. He was one of two former French POWs who brought three paintings stolen from the Führerbau, including Schloss 144, to a hospital in Bad Tölz in late May 1945.
