Police Inspector Louis-Marie-Charles Liénard and his superior, Police Judiciaire officer Ducher, accompanied Joseph Angerer, Reich State Minister, a Dr. Schmidt and Mr. Schweitzer, an interpreter, to the offices of the Georges Wildenstein gallery on 57, rue de la Boëtie, Paris. They only found empty frames.
