Roger Dequoy, the wartime director of the Wildenstein gallery in Paris, wrote to Karl Haberstock, a Nazi art dealer with whom the Wildenstein gallery did business. He indicated that he may be able to set up a meeting regarding an eventual sale of the Schloss collection. His contact allegedly lived in the Grenoble area.
