Fritz Schleif was a Berlin based art dealer. His gallery “Fritz Schleif, Gemälde Alter Meister, Plastik” was located in Schillstraße 8 am Kurfürstendamm. Schleif continued his art dealings during the Nazi regime, in particular with art dealer Adolf Weinmüller. After the war, he successfully claimed an artwork from the Central Collecting Point Munich and renamed his gallery into „Fritz Schleif, Konsul a.D., Gemälde alter Meister“.
