Jacques Ignatius de Roore

Jacques Ignatius de Roore is a Flemish art dealer, painter and art collector. His father, Erik de Roore was an art dealer in paintings and antiques. Jacques worked as a painter in Antwerp. After the death of his first wife he went to the Dutch Republic were he continued his career as a painter and became an art dealer. His collection was sold after his death on 17 July 1747.

He is mentioned in the provenance of the painting “Le Chirurgien” by Isaak Koedijck (Schloss German no. L25/ French no. 132), he sold the painting to Willem Lormier (1682-1758).
