Louis-Cesar Renaud de Choiseul
Duc de Choiseul-Praslin was a French nobleman, serviceman, diplomat, politician and collector of Dutch and Flemish paintings. He was active between the years 1760 and 1791. He is mentioned in the provenance of two paintings, Intérieur de corps de garde by Jacob Duck (Schloss German no. L15/ French no. 73) currently in the collection of the Getty museum and Marais by Jacob van Ruysdael (Schloss German no. L35/ French no. 223).
