Cornelis Ploos van Amstel was an 18th century Dutch printmaker widely known for his prints after drawings by various artists that are considered as an important contribution to graphic arts.

He was an art collector and is mentioned in the provenance of the painting Plage à marée basse by J. Esselens (Schloss German no. 58/ French no. 79).
