Pierre Rémy was an important art dealer and auctioneer in Paris. He started in 1737 and he became one of the leading experts. Pierre also acted as an art agent and adviser for art collectors. He was involved as an auctioneer in several sales, most notably of Augustin Blondel de Gagny, Pierre Paul Louis Randon de Boisset, and Louis-François de Bourbon, Prince de Conti.
