Italian-born Silvano Lodi (1924) came to Germany shortly before the end of the war in 1945. He worked as a waiter in the Nazi-elite restaurant Platterhof in the Obersalzberg region and moved to Munich in 1946. Lodi opened a gallery for Old Masters – Brienner Galerie in Munich in June 1963, situated at Briennerstr. 12, later at Wittelsbacherplatz 1 (1965) under the name “Galerie Lodi KG.” Six artw
