Jean Yver was an art dealer, auctioneer, draftsmen and print collector. After his death in 1814, his print collection was auctioned off on 25 March 1816 in Amsterdam. He is mentioned as one of the auctioneers in a few sales; one was the sale by Philippus van der Schley on 13-14 July 1790 in Amsterdam, were possibly the painting Nature morte by Jan van der Heyden (Schloss German no. 93/ French n
