Inspector Ducher accompanied Inspector Liénard on more than a dozen searches of Jewish residences in and around Paris in the summer of 1940, looking for art objects to confiscate. The operations were overseen by Joseph Angerer. One of the target addresses was the Schloss residence at 38, avenue Henri Martin.
