Louis-Auguste Angran Vicomte de Fonspertuis was a French courtier, soldier and art collector. His uncle Du Vivier bequeathed him his art collection of paintings, curiosities and East Asian porcelain. After Fonspertuis’ death in 1747 his collection was sold between December 1747 and March 1748. He is mentioned in the provenance of the Painting _Flora_ by Govert Flinck, then attributed to Rembrandt
