Alfred Fischer lived at Fürstenstr. 10, Munich. He was well-known to the Allied investigators at the MCCP. In 1946, he was forced to return 8 paintings which had been stolen from the Führerbau but did not mention two paintings from the Schloss collection that he still held—Schloss 25 and Schloss 227. Edgar Breitenbach recovered them on 26 November 1948.
