Etienne Nicolas, 14 Place des Etats-Unis, acquired from Henri Verne Brouwer's Le pouilleux for 330,000 francs, which was part of the confiscated Schloss collection and which ended up with Jean-François Lefranc who then recruited Cornelius Postma to help him sell this and other Schloss paintings on the Paris art market.
