Meeting between Lefranc and Gaston Veveaud

Lefranc visited Gaston Veveaud, préfet délégué de la Haute-Vienne. He introduced himself as an “expert près les Ministères et ancien expert près la Commission des réparations.” Among the many points made by Lefranc to Veveaud was his justification for placing Henry Schloss under arrest. According to Lefranc, Henry Schloss was found to be in “situation irrégulière” and was arrested on the spot.
