&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Jacomo or ‘Jacob’ de Wit was an art collector, art dealer and wine merchant in Antwerp. He was the uncle and godfather of the Dutch painter Jacob de Wit (1695-1754). He died on 5 July 1721 leaving his art collection to his widow, Isabella-Clara van Simpelvelt, she died in 1740.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Jacomo is mentioned in the provenance of the painting _Résurrection de Lazare _by Peter Paul Rubens. The picture was sold at the sale of his widow on 15 May – June 1741 in Antwerp.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
