&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;The art dealer Guillaume Jean Constantin was active in Paris during the last quarter of the 18th and the first years of the 19th century. His business network included a number of European countries, including France, England, Italy, Germany as well as Russia. He had a particular close relationship with Johann Friedrich Städel, a Frankfurt collector and founder of the Städel institute. Constantin also worked as an expert in estate evaluation, as an auctioneer, as a print publisher, and as a painting’s curator to Empress Joséphine, Napoleon’s wife.&lt;br /&gt;
