In early April 1943, Musso was forced to deal with the seizure of the Schloss collection at the Château de Chambon in Laguenne. He asserted Vichy France’s interest in the art collections stored at the Château de Chambon and sought the guidance of Pierre Laval in Vichy to ensure that French interest would be upheld at all cost, even going as far as mobilizing the gendarmerie to prevent the collection from leaving the Corrèze.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
